Rupert's painting 'The Less Deceived' has been chosen to be exhibited in this year's Autumn Open exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) in Bristol. A vibrant exhibition with over 500 works, including painting, printmaking, sculpture and architecture selected from open submission. This popular annual show comprises an eclectic mix of styles, media and subjects.

This prestigious annual exhibition is now in its 155th year and runs from the 21st Oct to the 12th of Dec, 10.00 - 5.30 Mon - Sat and 2.00 - 5.00 Sun.

A selection of Rupert's work can be viewed at the Affordable Art Fair on the Marine House Gallery Stand F11.

The Affordable Art Fair returns to Battersea Park bringing together 110 galleries and dealers from the UK and abroad. The fair is fun, relaxed and with everything under £3,000, it is an art-buying opportunity not to be missed.

The fair's friendly environment invites first time buyers to browse amongst the thousands of paintings, original prints, photography and sculpture, whilst seasoned collectors can seek out hot new artists.

Soul survivor art shed Soul Survivor logo
Rupert Brooks will be exhibiting his latest collection of paintings in the art shed at this summer's Soul Survivor Festival Into his Likeness 2007. The festival is held at Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

Rupert's paintings will be exhibited during weeks A & B, 13th - 22nd August

The Lynn Stainer Painter Prize is a major new award in figurative painting. Rupert's painting 'Home Thoughts From Abroad' will be on show along with approximately 60 other entrants from across the UK. The Exhibitions runs from Nov 22nd to Dec 2nd 2006.



Rupert's painting 'Hannah and the Money Spider' has been awarded the 2006 Marine House at Beer Prize for the most outstanding work by a Non member from the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts (SWac).



In May Rupert's painting 'Hannah' was selected to be hung at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters Exhibition. This Annual show is held at the Mall Galleries in London and is a showcase for some of the best portraiture from the UK.
